They find the couple, but Peter kills Charles, and Ruby is torn between agony over her closest brother’s death, and her love for Peter. She then finds out she is pregnant, and cries over her lost life. Peter sees his love in agony, and kills himself in a fit of rage. Ruby dies from childbirth, and her baby is taken by her mother to raise on her own.
